I have worked in the bicycle industry for almost two decades in a variety of roles. My experience began in Canada and continues in Sydney Australia. Over the years this has seen me involved as a mechanic/sales person, inside sales customer service rep, store manager and sales agent/rep.
My two wheeled experience has crossed a number of disciplines, from Triathlete and Canadian Ironman finisher, to club road racing, dabbling in mountain biking and now, with a conscious decision to never own a car again, I’ve added daily commuter to that resume.
In addition to Spinopsys, my print media writing can sometimes be found within the pages of the exceptionally well produced Australian cycling publication Ride Magazine. I’ve also blogged the Tour de France at the Australian host broadcasters dedicated site.
Cycling aside, I regularly contribute to the politically progressive Australian group blog Larvatus Prodeo and a range of other new media sites.
With Spinopsys, I hope to bring, in my own idiosyncratic way, some of my enjoyment, experience and knowledge of cycling and related topics to these digital pages.
I can be contacted for advice, praise, vilification and writing gigs through e-mail and IM at spinopsys [at] gmail [dot] com, or via Skype VoIP and IM at Spinopsys.
