Bike bus
Posted May 28th, 2007 in Advocacy, Energy
Recently, the ABC’s excellent Catalyst science show featured a full evening of programming on energy, environment and solutions, including a People Power segment on Sydney’s bike bus initiative . This You Tube grab is well worth a watch and not just because it features the tireless Fiona Campbell, in fact, an initiative like the bike bus is just one of a mix of solutions to our climate and energy challenges.
Note: Prior to the People Power piece, there was a terrific hour on oil, the oil industry and peak called Crude: The Incredible Journey of Oil, which you can watch in a special broadband web edition. This includes full program segments, longer interviews and in-depth points. I particularly liked the easy to digest interview with journalist Sonia Shah.

Fantastic reason to support the Sydney Writers Festival where Sonia Shah showcased “Crude” two years back… Sorry to say much of the information was also available online to aging ferrets like myself but, what the hey.
