Sonic grip

sonicgrip This week’s New Inventors program on the ABC featured a neat cycling product called the Sonic Grip. Designed by Australian inventor Frank Ierfone this is a great product that deserves to succeed and see wider distribution.

Sonic Grip is a battery operated bike bell that is built into the bike grip, which allows you to ring the bike bell without taking your hands off the handlebars. Simply squeeze or lean on the bubble on the grip and a loud and distinctive electronic sound is emitted.

Video.

Update: Sonic Grip is being distributed through the Australian wholesaler Bike Box (no website) and should be available through your local friendly IBD.

I think my wife would like one of these. Can they be purchased yet?

Not sure Fritz, I’ll be looking into it because I think we can sell these.
