There’s a reasonably comprehensive piece on electric assisted bicycles in today’s Sydney Morning Herald.
Having given up on the privately owned internal combustion engine a few years ago, we are now a three-bicycle family. This brings with it its own rewards, and its own set of problems. For a start, the big Saturday supermarket shop has […]

How many times have we said that over the past decade? I was going to do a post like this but Gizmodo beat me to it. Love the snark.
This weekend, Spaniard Alberto Contador won the Tour De France mounted on a 2008 carbon-fiber Trek Madone bicycle. What is shocking is that the 2008 high end […]

Pedal to the metal with this water-resistant iPod speaker case that clamps to your bike frame. Handlebar mounted remote control allows for safe cycling while listening to your tunes. This speaker case is perfect for the beach, poolside, and picnics, too.
This actually looks like a good product.

The images and info for the 2008 Trek Madone’s are out in the wilds. Up the Road has the inside story.

These lamps are mounted inside a cast aluminium chasis encased in compression moulded silicon. Powered by a smart charge Lithium Ion battery, the Gator burns at full brightness for four hours and will […]

This is a mid 90’s Alex Pong CWS/BB kit a mate has in the box, practically new 489 grams for the lot. I lusted over them back then and still do now. Not much different from the stuff we have today. It’s worth remembering the visionaries.
