To celebrate World Environment Day, the Chauvel will be showing Detour De France on Monday June 4 at 6.30pm.
Paparazzi like, I’ll be there, camera in one hand and a glass of Champers in the other, book a ticket and join me for a night of cycling larrikinism and environmental goodness. Here is the […]

Via Cyclingnews, Indurain on Riis.
I don’t want to detract from what Riis did, but my impression is that he did not overwhelm me, that it was me who lost the Tour. I did all I could to be in front and at the end I did not reach this goal. Riis and many others were […]

Yep, the roundup is back, this time on Sundays. It never really died, it was just resting.
Opening this stanza we have bad news coming from trackie and power meter blogger Alex Simmons, however what strikes me about Alex’ very matter of fact post is his optimism - new challenges await and he’s clearly up to […]

“This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.”
Or in the words of Bjarne Riis.
That also means that I did things that I shouldn’t have and I have regretted that ever since. Those were mistakes that I […]

Bloomberg.
Riis News Conference. Denmark’s Bjarne Riis, who won the 1996 Tour de France with the Telekom team, will hold a news conference in Copenhagen tomorrow, Deutsche Presse-Agentur reported.
